Title: Fixture Wanted 26th July
Post by: t2ylo on June 11, 2018, 06:31:09 AM: Unfortunately our usual touring side for the Thursday of cricket week have pulled out of their tour.

This means we have a slot available on Thursday 26th July to play Kilve CC in West Somerset

Lovely ground, by the sea & cracking teas.

The school holidays have started by then and we play 7 days straight against casual & touring teams like Lloyds Bank, SouWesters & Sponsors XI

Any ideas from the forum?

Do you know a side that would like a trip to the seaside? Do you think we could get a CBF XI out?

Thanks for setting it up T2ylo. As has been said we are very VERY batting heavy so I will endeavour to get everyone to bat or bowl as they prefer however it may be that some people that would rather bat will be pushed a bit lower down the order because they will probably be bowling the majority of our overs! Hopefully that is okay with everyone.

Unfortunately as only 4 or 5 gave me shirt sizes, that isn't going ahead as far as I'm aware.

CBF v Kilve II - same place, same date, different day - this time it's personal and they are bringing bowlers (unlikely but possible)
