Hey
Any updated thoughts on GM Neon for the guys using it in 2018
And which version they are using .I'm very impressed with the GM pressing .
It seems pressed harder but seem to have real quality when you play with them and get better with time.
Any thoughts from guys using a GM Neon and if it's a 808 or 909

I have a GM Neon signature I’m using this year, it’s superb and as you say most at my club reckon it’s the best performing bat from all the lads bats and they are some expensive M&H, Woodstock and GN bats. There pressing now is spot on and was last year for me as I used a Chrome signature last season.
In addition the best shaped handles from any brand in my opinion. My Neon is a 2017 model and is a very big bat for 2.10. I can 100% say this will be used until it can’t be repaired any more

Thank you I have also noticed the mana and the neon are the same length
Not sure if there's a major difference between them
I agreee about Gunn and Moore think off the shelf they are one of the best

I used a Neon signature for a couple of months between january and march 2018. Its an amazing value for money bat. Neon is near maximum MCC size regulation bat from GM without getting too heavy. I would take neon over mana as my teammate bought a mana and the toe on that was really thin. Neon is my favorite shape from GM. Big thumbs up!

Wow signature I did not even even consider signature is that one below 808

Looking at it I can't work out the difference between a neon signature and a neon 808 apart from a 808 is dearer.. they are both grade 2..

The 808 is/was a 5 star dealer model, and tea sits above the signature

The signature is the lowest graded grade 2 followed by 707 and 808. With signature u can expect no more than 6-7 grains and bit more heartwood compared to others. 808s tend to be more grainy imo and signatures tend to be wider grains. Let me try and find a picture of my signature on my phone if possible.

It played really well and if i were to upgrade i would get a 909 instead of 808. Not much price difference but its mostly just cosmetics imo.

Thank you Do you still play with it and it not what have you moved on to

I recently sold it and moved on to a Blank Bat B4 LE bought from Tai. Couldnt have made a better decision in my life. That bat is something else! As a backup i use a Ca dragon 50 and for nets/abuse/lending to teammates i bought a cheap Mids MM power
-
Heard good thing about mids useful to have a cheap one in the car
How much was it and where from
-
Trust me i have used nearly every pakistani brand out there and MIDS is easily my favorite by a country mile! I had it picked out from their factory in sialkot through a friend of a friend who then shipped it to my aunt in lahore who brought it along with her to UAE. Though im sure if u speak to MIDS they will probably ship it anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost. Theyr good and honest blokes. My bat cost me 12000 pkr which comes at about 75 quid. It is officially grade 2 english willow but iv seen grade 1s that look worse. And it is a BEAST! Infact i just used it in the nets for the first time today and after every 4-5 shots i looked at the face and said WOW!
