All a bit quiet here then?
I love Jos Butter
-
Yep hales 8 off18 balls not what England need with there batting lineup.
-
Hales put a lot of pressure on England after they was sailing!
Buttler looking as awesome as usual
-
And ow England lose 3 for one run
-
Morgan went one early to try and catch up ground lost. Skies one.
Bairstow walks passed one.
Root(probably the better choice early to concentrate on getting Buttler on strike) set off for his one without hitting the ball.
And Ali played a shot I expect a 2nd team tail ended to play...... not going well this but we can bounce back!
-
Oh dear, the mystery spinner runs through the middle order. Root and bairstow completely clueless.
All down to buttler
-
Jos as only faced 42 balls in 17 overs
England will struggle to get 150
-
5 wickets for the youngster. Turned the game on it’s head
-
Bowled quite beautifully - made Bairstow, who is batting like he is facing a bowling machine on an ironing board, look like a third XI duffer.
-
All this talk about Kohli and his 'unfinished business' in England, forget about him. This lad Rahul is something else. What an extraordinary batsman.

The unfinished business if Varat scores big conquers England wins in all formats his the worlds best player status will be beyond question.
-
Kohli is very good, if you watch some of his recent interviews you realize how much he has matured which is pleasing to see and makes the on-field behaviour a bit more tolerable, but he does have score here in England.
KL Rahul is special to watch, people kept going on about Yuvi and then Rohit but Rahul is miles ahead of them in all formats. I hope he does well.

TBH winning any requisite series should be more important than whether Kohli can bury his demons. I'd be happy if Root averages 5 in the Test series but we still win

Second T20 Moeen not playing Ball and Jordon balling to short at Raina
-
Inexperience showing from jake ball. The last over of the innings and everything was pitched short which allowed India to get up to 148 should have been around 140
-
Beat me to it poor last off from Ball but England have to score a getable 149
-
Englad must think 149 is very getable Roots in at 3
-
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a true artist with the ball. Really intelligent
-
Extremely poor cricket wicket
-
And Happy B'Day Dhoni
Edit: In India currently its 7 July.
-
Root's a passenger in the T20 side. No place for him when Stokes returns

Tend to agree but think it will be Moeen or Hales who's left out wouldn't pick Jordon either
-
That 6 ends it. Good knock by hales
-
Good game that. Love a close low scoring game.
Huge six from the goon when the pressure was on!
-
Great game that. Hales continues to get important runs, credit to him.
-
Root dropped as Stokes returns.
India drop Kuldeep and Bhuvi is injured. Chahar debuts and Kaul plays
-
Is it me or is this now the beginning of Root being phased out of the T20 side?
-
Root needs to have a look at Williamson and how he reinvented himself at this years IPL.
-
England 50 off 4.3 overs

Could be wrong but don't think there will be many England players At the IPL as they will be pushing for World Cup selection.
-
Roy 50 off 23 balls inc 9 dot balls.
-
This is mad
-
England fall short after there start England's tail is to long
-
Some catch that by Jordon
-
Easy chase for India, 198 was never enough with a 60m boundary.
-
Absolutely outclassed. There's a gulf in class with the batting. We have one dimensional hitters whereas India having proven batsmen in all formats
-
These T20 games have confirmed that Jake Ball simply isn't good enough for International Cricket.
Send him back to Notts and leave him there!
-
India played really well if the one day series is half as good we are in for a treat
With stokes back you would think Ball might miss out in the one day team. Root will play those games.
Ball always seems to be the one targeted, I've seen him bowl live he has height pace and bounce but looks not quite good enough every time
-
England a batsman down Jordon Willey and Plunkett not up to it with the bat England lost it in the 17 and 18 when 36 runs we're scored.
Ball not good enough.

Never thought he was more than a County bowler to be honest! Agree with you.

Faced him when he was at Wokingham - had the technique not the pace. When he gained the latter, it seemed a certainty - he was awesome for Notts two years back. Injury has really not helped, nor has the way being on the fringes of the England team kills your rhythm.
-
Yeh but don't forget his Uncle is on the coaching staff
-
Spin departments also an issue. Rashid and Ali might have picked up wickets against a toothless Aussie side but shown no threat so far.
Time to prepare some more green tops like they use to

Anything but a road and England’s white ball teams are done for... they are hitters so if you make it move they’ll be skittled. Just accept this brand of Cricket is hit and miss
-
It is a mystery how Ball keeps getting opportunities to play for England across all formats.
