hi guys
i've got a dilemma on my hands as most of you probably would have been through i'm trying to decide which bat to get next. I'd love to get the QDK player edition but £500 is a lot to ask for a bat. its hard to find any pictures around so if anyone could help me out that would be great. Another bat instead of the PE is the Zelos 909 only looking on getting this as its the best bat that can be made in a long handle. If anyone has any advice on were maybe to get a cheaper PE bat maybe second hand, or even another better GM bat that would be superb.
Thanks in Advance

909 onwards have the same handle quality. Player Editions are the LE grade.
A) Go to a shop and try them
B) Buy both. CBF preferred solution
C) B + sell both and write a post about buying another bat. CBF Reality

Absolutely. But you don't necessarily have to get a PE, one of my friends has a mana 909 which is very very good as well. Like Marc mentioned, 909 and up have the same top quality handles.

I've tried a few GM's at all levels, they're fantastic bats across the range. Sure I remember reading that Shane Watson batted a few tests with a 606. They're certainly hearty handles in comparison with most.
That said I do not care at all what the stick looks like, merely how it picks up and feels in hand, and how it performs in terms of rebound, so perhaps I'm not the best judge.

for example i have a chrome LE which ive only used in a net session. But that feels awful of the bat but the 808 icon ive had for years is beautiful just a shame its on its last legs. But what ive read about the chrome LE its very hard and takes a while to knock in

If it’s a GM you fancy than speak to Rob at Six sixes on here and maybe consider the signature grade 2 offering, the handle quality maybe done from the top end offering but the bats themselves and everything about them is top quality.
Been using them the last two seasons and currently have 3 signature grades and play at a decent enough level of cricket and performance wise cant fault them, bes5 handles in terms of thick oval you can get and UK made so happy days

@alexevo94 , if you want to broaden your search params, I'd suggest looking into a CA, Keeley, or a Kranzbuhler. I'd take any of them in a match. You won't be disappointed.
