Title: Sports Direct GM Mana

With my match bat starting to crack near the handle a replacement is due!
Last week I gambled on a GM Mana 606 as it was down to £65
I was dubious as it didn't list the weight of the bat...
Really pleasantly surprised! A dent in the spine which I've managed to encourage most of it out with a few drops of water, picks up nicely, handle is much thicker than I am used to using but the bat is well balanced, and I weighed it as 2'9.

I thought it was last year's version but it is actually a 2018 with the new grip!
Pressed quite hard I struggle to make a dent with a mallet in the middle but down near the toe needs a bit more knocking!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ;) Personally don't like heartwood!

Hope you are happy with it though! :)

Dont know what many more would want, even straight grains with a tiny blemish above the hitting area. not bad for 65 pounds!!

Profile is good with the short blade. Personally always loved heartwood on my inside edge as a RH , dont know why, just always did. And l love a blemish either above or below the hitting area, always think they make that middle just a bit bigger
