Title: Weight reduction

Has anybody any recommendations as to where (ideally London/Home Counties) one can get a weight reduction competently carried out on a bat? A mate of mine has a bat he likes (a Newbery), though would like to shed some weight from it. I had a couple of positive experiences of weight reductions carried out by GN and Aldred (tho both on their own bats), but do you know who would do a Newbery? A bit of a search of the interweb revealed that Chase do this on any bats, which sounded promising so I think they’re looking like a good bet. Tho Newbery do their own, they were, relatively, frighteningly expensive.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I'd have thought Mr Aldred would be more than willing to do a Newbery

Hunts will do this for you. If you ring before they may do to while you wait... happened when I asked a year or so ago

Dean at Vulcan Cricket Bats in Braintree will do a great job for you.
