Second hand from local listing, wasn't sure of condition from the photos and no side profile image i wasnt sure if i was buying a slim edged 80/90s style bat.. But turned out to be modern shape and in good condition, no toe or edge cracks, two face cracks which look superficial(not raising up or gaping), the face gaurd has split and shrunk in two places which looks bad but doesnt correspond to any surface depressions which i thought could be the case. 2lb 8 oz has heart wood on my outside edge, picks up nice, handle is oval at bottom doesnt feel too big despite being larger than my gn rounder handles. Ping is suprising, has rebound like my pre-production kaboom players bat, something pretty special.My other good bats dont quite have this quality despite them being really good sticks (nb1080le,xp80). Think may enquire to have it tidied up with L&W.
Glad could get this second hand as I would need to wear out my other bats to splinters, and promise it would be the "last one" before i would possibly be allowed to look at getting one new, id also be scared of breaking it at $1k+nzd. Was allowed to buy this one for around £30

Pretty unbelievable :), dont usually browse facebook marketplace. Was from a lady who used to play, but didnt anymore and kids not using so cleaning out wardrobe. Has number on shoulder and back of the bat in high 80's, they've made 300 in total since starting in 1990 so could be from early 2000's. Ill ask L&W if they have info on when it was made when email about refurb Tommrow. Thinking maybe new stickers and laser engraving like the new ones have. P

94 Signatures in 22 years, and then 206 in 6 years... Even with a few extra batmakers and assuming 3 times the demand, something still doesn't add up. ???
