Rumours are that it isn't as well attended this year than in previous years... although there are a few forum favourites there...

@Six Sixes Cricket where's the scoops? Always surprised how lacking in coverage this kind of thing is in cricket actually.

Okay I've found a few from the show, nothing too interesting though. The VKS pic just showed the new GN designs better, unrelated to the show.

Pretty uninspiring this year @edge , only kook out of the big boys there. Not allowed to show those although there will be a pink bat for @Canners .

Salix new softs haven’t arrived, new bats were stunning as usual.

Mrf were there, bats at £800 for Kohli reject top of the range, then filtered down to £250. 3 player models available.

Payntr new colours, a cheaper model at £60, top shoes now £90. Dhoni 7’s not for uk

Kook 2 new ranges plus 2 cheap bats. Big Kahuna is back plus a ghost obscene! For the big edge heavy weight lovers

Bas look uninspiring

Didn’t bother with Spartan

Ransom were there, didn’t look.

Sf looked really good, 1 entry glove was 👌

New balance, one colourway of shoes, red, looked ok. 3 bats, nice colours, generic average shapes for bats

Yes, Apparently he gets to choose his bats from a pool of 50 bats, the ones he doesnt want become the chase master. 9 sh bats in the kohli range

Chase Master RRP £860  :o :(

So they might be absolute bobbins then?

"Alright Virat you can choose 5 from these 50, we've put in a good mix so you've got a varied choice. There's 5 super low density grade 1 clefts in your personal shape and weight like you asked, and then 45 grade 4 planks we had the apprentice knock up. You'll take the G1s? No problem Mr Kohli, you're the boss. Hope they get you plenty of runs, you take care now." ... "right then sales team, where are those 'from a batch made for Virat Kohli' stickers I told you to make up? We've got some bats to sell!"

MRF tried to come into the UK market 2 years ago with obscene pricing and got nowhere, i'm not sure what they think has changed since.

GCCC have a pink kahuna, just a wild guess but would this be essentially the same bat?

That looks a bigger edge profiled bat compared to the uk's, the uk has white stickers with a pink bird

kookaburra moving into the womens cricket market? following GM?

any other info on the kooks 2019 range? looking at new keeping gear next season as well as the usual stock up on batting gloves

The pink bat is 2.8 1/2 to 2.10 1/2, so probably a bit too heavy,

2 sets of wk gloves, short cut and long cut

2 new ranges to go with kahuna and ghost. Ghost now not full profile and starts at 2.8 1/2 to 2.10 1/2. also a heavy bat and a t20 lite bat in both of these models

pink will be interesting, could attract a lot of attention while batting. especially if its possible to get matching gloves.

pics of the WK gloves?

shame they have changed the ghost as is a great bat with the full profile.

Think GM are doing a public launch in October, but from what I've heard there's a specific Ben Stokes BS55 bat or something

Are kooks continuing with the coloured pads? hopefully they have opted to include small mens/youth sizes as well
Title: Re: Lord's Trade Show 2018/19

Yes Kook are still doing coloured, youth in the flare range, GN are doing a prestige range in youth/mens and GM are doing pre order colour as well

waiting on the club deciding what colour t20 kit they want for next year, will be black, green, or (hopefully not) yellow

will be keeping an eye on pro direct as they occasionally have coloured pro pads on there

Surprised why we have such few options for colored pads. With increasing T20s all around the world, we should have more colored options from the big brands. Good to hear GN and GM are taking steps in this direction, even though limited.
