would be v timely to announce a top grade special edition of their players model in Chef spec

i think a bold AC underneath the generic red stripe would look v cool

Ive just seen new s.marsh , renshaw , and stoinis g.n oz player models with laser engraved names under the face stickers . They look really nice , would be great if g.n u.k did this for Cook.

They did this a few years back, can't have sold that well though as it was discontinued after a season if I remember rightly.

It will be definitely be a tribute to a great player who has been with them throughout his international career. But will there be sufficient demand?

Indeed, by the time your average club joe is looking for a new bat (Jan-April) cook will be a fading memory after Burns and Jennings have enjoyed a record-breaking tour or two.
