Hi all. Myself and Matt are off to India in 2 weeks time to meet suppliers, customers and discuss new innovations. We will be taking plenty of pics and videos and will be posting to our social media sites.
What would you guys like to see when we are out there? Let us know and we'll try and post some bits.
-
Happy to catch up if you guys are going to be in Mumbai by any chance..

Hey h4l
I know I'm asking a question rather than answering 🤦♀️
However in your opinion what would be really intersting for ya to see find out about the Indian side of things and bat making and innovation

"Designed in the UK" stickers? Please not! ;)

Because this meeting with suppliers couldn't possibly be to discuss softs...
-
I'm sure it is exactly what Adam says it is.

Have a great trip lads, I went out many years ago now on 2005 to see the set ups and oversee the integration of the air liners into the gloves. Really good to see the skill involved to make the Softs, bats etc and would love to go back now and see how it’s all evolved over the last 14 years.
-
Would love to see some videos of how they make softs. As well as the Indian bat makers churning out the quality they produce now as well be great to see compared to the U.K. makers
-
Its our second trip out there, fantastic place.
We are over seeing production of softs, bags, grips, balls and a few potential new items. Sure we'll see plenty of bats but rest assured, our bats will still all be made by Matt in Kent!
-
I would like to know why it is virtually impossible to buy black spiral grips.
If you do visit some batmakers I would like to know their thoughts on the counterfeit market. Particularly what they are/can do about it and how it effects their brands/business.

I would love a trip out to India to see it all going on.

Check weather and travel arrangements before you go. Due to heavy rain there are floods and warning been issued

I had no real reason to doubt this. But thanks for demonstrating how easy it is to clarify such things.

By the looks of the facebook pics it was a good trip!

Hi all. Back safe and sound. Was a very successful trip to an amazing place.
Being fully involved in the design and production process of our softs and bags was a great experience. Tweaking designs, textures and features on the fly really helps getting the best results. We have now got some great samples for testing.
Very excited for the 2019 kit launch! Watch this space. ;)

Saw the FB pics including the ones of Matt getting a chance to show his pod shaving skills to the locals, also saw what I hope are 2019 season gloves shown with the lovely red and black colour way.
Must have been as awesome experience for you both
