SA win

Loved steyn’s post match presentation - called finch and lynn domestic cricket bullies.

He may have a point! Neither have lit the international stage alight

Tbf given the fact most players are produced for limited overs cricket I’d say they have both financially set themselves up regardless. Maybe it’s not them at fault but the system for allowing limited players the ability to make it ?

They simply don’t need to do well at int level anymore as the 2020 leagues are that good, so don’t find them out

Always nice to wake up and see the Australians getting hammered. That said the pitch was spicy and there isn't a more devastating seam attack than Steyn, Rabada and Ngidi throw in Tahir and it's an extraordinary bowling unit. That said Australia are technically inept and anyone with half a brain would've bided their time and collared the fifth bowler Phehlukwayo.

With regards to Steyn's comments regarding Finch and Lynn, I think he meant they are flat track bullies on the usual Australian pitches. Finch has a fairly decent ODI career. Lynn has hardly played much international cricket.

As for comedy moment of the match, the press release that Shaun Marsh was having surgery in his backside. Was that really necessary to be published?

Either way, even if Smith and Warner where available they still wouldn't have made much difference

They'll be back by the next world cup...........even without match practice Smith is probably miles ahead of some of the muppets that are currently playing.

That still doesn’t excuse the 9% win percentage this year

For a top country that is quite simply not good enough

Just saying that banned players will be back we’ll be ok is ridiculous, what if they get injured between now mad the word cup or their return?

England has held the world cup 4 times, 5 times as of next year. Never won one, for a top quality country that invented cricket that's not good enough.

Is it just me or is there hardly anyone going to these ODI's?

Fair enough it's a weekday but has the whole sandpapergate had that much of an affect on the Aussie public?

BBL season starting soon, public rather go to that.

Aussie crowds for international games have been on the downward trend

Hold the press - the aussies win a game!

SA chocked that - extremely poor chase.
Ngidi snapping the handle on his bat to end proceedings

South Africa without AB and Amla are a dreadful batting unit

I'm surprised Miller is batting so low, can't believe Klaasen is batting above him.

Travis Head the difference between the two teams.  He scored 8 and they won by 7 runs.  Though I jest, do actually rate him as a player.  Miller is a very good batsman, think they like to think of him as their finisher, but you're right he should be batting farther up the order.

Incredible bowling from Cummins, only going for 27 from his full set of 10.

SA always seem to find good batsmen though, Hendricks looks good, Markram too.  Will only be a matter of time before they unearth a new star.  Imagine losing the likes of Smith, Kallis, Gibbs, De Villiers and Amla from your batting line up over a few years though.

Head is awful. Just a filthy slogger just look at his mediocre record for South Australia despite playing on the flattest pitch in Australia

Gibbs is going back a bit! I was still a lad when he retired!
