Last years black and white seemed quite bland but really like the new 2019 Adidas shoes color scheme in light blue.
-
The new shoes look good.
The rest of the kit is usually launched in the second/third week in November (not that I have checked, honest! Cough cough) I am hoping the kit is as good this year as it has been in the last couple.
I am also hoping for better branding than last year!

Changed the font and added a couple of stickers on the back of the bat.....

Much preferred the old font. New one looks like you’d get on a set of fake stickers on eBay IMO

I must be getting old because I thought the minimalist colour scheme last year on the footwear was fantastic but really don't like the new colour scheme for 2019. On the plus side, I have been able to stock up a couple of pairs of last years shoes at discount prices to keep me going until Adidas come back again to a clean design for their shoes

Yeah, the minimalist colourway and branding they had going recently hit the spot for me too. I also snaffled a discounted pair.
Horses for courses though, like everything else. There's no accounting for taste!

I have to say I am a little underwhelmed by the softs, but then last year they sold really well apparently, so why change a successful formula.

I’ve had a look back through other threads and can’t seem to find an answer, but what’s the difference between the Black and White Adidas bats. Their write up looks identical.

Stickers!

Stickers!
That’s kinda crazy. Not even phoning in a slight difference, just same generic SS bat just with different colours.
-
I know they have to change the look each year slightly but last years stuff looked so much better!

Changing the branding every year is something of a recent phenomenon - at least to me - but is it really something they "have" to do? Are there that many cricketers out there who replace kit very year to get the latest branding?
