Title: Who Has the Plainist Softs under £100?
Post by: FattusCattus on November 28, 2018, 09:17:45 PM
I'm obsessed with plain white softs at the moment.

I really like the Neon stuff and also the Batas stuff (and I'm not averse to the Red Ink stuff also)

Any other suggestions for really plain softs out there?

The keeley Superiors are excellent as are the 600 keeley ones but the neons are great too

Phantom cricket owner has an unbranded set of pads and gloves listed separately on ebay at the moment. Think you could get them both for under £100

Can't see 'em (I am technologically challenged) - do you have a link?

Been up a while so I would have thought he'd take a little below the asking prices

Was tempted by one of the duffles for training

I've just had some delivered by online stockist, they've updated their unrbanded range and the pads in particular are amazing. You could get pads and two sets of glvoes delivered for less than £100. Just search unbranded on their website. I know people on here are sometimes worried about them but I've never had a problem. Plus if you check out with paypal you're fully protected anyway.

I have also bought kit from the unbranded range at OLS - including a set of coloured T20 pads - and the quality was excellent for the price

Can you upload some pictures mate? Also what’s the fit like, I know with some of the Indian brands the sizes are quite small

I’ve got some all white pads and a fresh drop of the gloves will be landing in Jan @FattusCattus 👍

I can't at the moment I'm at work but they do look exactly as pictured on the website. I'm 6 foot and the pads fit me fine, I'm pretty sure they are the same base pads as Woodstock's £70 ones just without the branding. Gloves a number of my teamates have used and found them all normal size.

I purchased standards mens gloves and they are the same size as the standard mens Gray Nicholls gloves

I’ve been looking at these https://allwhitecricket.co.uk/
But I don’t need more kit right now. I’m sure someone on here could identify where they are from.
I love OLS pads & Batas/Phantom glove combo too.
RS do some very plain softs too but sizing was a bit small.

Surely that’s just drop-shipped stuff from OLS?

Similar question - who makes the plainest softs that don't have any cane in the pads? Think like Kookaburra ones without the lairy rear colours.

Hunts County did all white softs last season, can't see them not doing them again, I'll check next time I pop in.

Cane fronted. Also don't like sausage gloves.

What don’t you like about sausage gloves?

If it’s the flexibility the ghost pro match my h4l customs out of the pack, they’re incredible

I think @Blank Bats pads are non-cane front
