Seen a thread by @Buzz few years ago mentioning value for money for thigh pads. But didn’t see anything about the moonwalkr se I’m a tight sod so refuse to pay a ludicrous amount for thigh pads Espically when I rarely use them. But I’ve seen quite a few players using the Moonwalkr thigh pads set and at 25-40 pound I don’t mind if there quality. Was just wondering peoples opinion on them.

There was a thread recently comparing various thigh pads
My opinion of the Moonwalkrs was that they offered very good protection but were far too bulky and rigid
-
Aero P2 are the choice of most given the price point and protection offered.

I'm in the same boat, I was trying to order the Moonwalkr's off crown cricketer but both my card and paypal weren't working on their site for some reason. OLS has them but they are £5 more from them.

Stretton Fox are looking to bring a new thigh pad to market shortly.

I have a set I may be willing to part with

I've been in contact with George (who is an absolute pleasure to deal with) and he said he will be working on the beta samples for the thinner thigh pads in early spring.
