Recently picked up some of the G2 bats and they are beauty's. Happy that a store in Aus stocked them so made the purchase super easy. Bat specs and pics below:

Bat 1 (Heartwood)
Weight: 2lb7.7oz
Edge 35-37
Toe: 22-24mm

Bat 2
Weight: 2lb6.6oz
Edge 35-36
Toe: 21-22mm

The finish looks poor. Not what one would expect from Tom.

I Think it’s prob the lighting in the pics as they are buffed to a sheen prior to sending out.

Bats have come half way across the world and sit in an AC building all day. Pictures aren't the greatest, but I can assure you they are fine.

Just checked and all the markings match up, so it is that one indeed.

Yeh Chucky throughout that I like about them as a stock profile. This is the one that’s in my kit bag for next year.

Nice looking bats for G2s, especially at the weights. Not sure how anyone can comment on the finish from these pics alone. Am I right in thinking they're made by a well known batmaker in Kent, who was very much in fashion a little while back on here?

Ah, I was thinking it was another bartmaker in Kent  :D Either way, pressing & finishing should be top notch you'd think.

That's what I thought, hence the 'bartmaker' comment  ;) As I said, either way they'll be well finished

As I don’t make them myself I obviously have to rely on a 3rd party to supply me woth them. Needless to say I wouldn’t put my brand name on anything that I don’t deem to be the best I can source. 👍
