Morning All
As we at Ayrtek like to offer our customers a personalised product which makes it unique to them and special. I have been to see our bat sticker printer who has agreed (after some gentle persuasion and begging) to print off bat stickers with a personalised touch such as a persons name on them or initials or to be honest whatever they want included...this custom service will also include the choice of what highlight colour they would like on the stickers e.g. pink sections as per below stickers can be changed.
I have included a couple of pics of the sets I picked up this morning and photoshopped an example of the stickers to give you an idea of what could be done....

This service will be available to customers who buy our bats to give them that "personal" touch to individualise themselves from the crowd.

Monty Panesar needs a sponsor. Maybe him?
-
Yeah not a prolific batsman but him and his brother are nice lads! Who knows maybe?!
-
That fluro orange looks awesome! Where would your name go, would it replace the ayrtek? This might be pictured but I can't see them all
-

Yep, Monty is a genuinly nice guy, very religious too. But if he gets going for Sussex, and thus gets selected for England, that will be some international exposure for you
-
Liam yeah an example is in the picture below if you get it sorted so you an see it...it wouldnt replace the Ayrtek as we would obviously want our logos to remain on the bats/stickers!
-

Peplow you legend! :P
Up too early for me to get there :)
-
you should try and get some pro's lined up you will get alot of people going is he using ayrtek the ones who make
the wiked helmets or you can sponsor me.
-
Yeah I can see them now, they look rather good!
-
loving the orange too!! Might i add that if anyone asks for brown, refuse to deal with them!! as brown is such an awful colour!
Haha colesy the blue would actually be nice i reckon!!
-
the brightest orange i would have that 8)
-
Lol I think so too, black background with the blue standing out, maybe add some metallic-ness into the blue ;)
-
tom can we be cheeky and buy these without a bat :)
-
my guess is NO
-
i dont see why not, get abit of exposure for ayrtek and get a lilttle profit
-
No as we cant control the quality of bat they go on then and would want our brand represented by the willow they are upon which we know with our bats when sending them out
-
yup you wouldnt want ur stickers on some plank that someone would be hardly able to play with!
-
aww man :( my aj's coming back from warsop blank
-
As Peplow said if someone labels up a plank and people think it's an Ayrtek vat it then reflects badly on the brand...once out of our posession uta obviously hard to control such things at least if they are applied to our bats we know they are on quality grade one Uk made bats
-
look nice :) sweatband arrived today btw pal , cheers!
-
see this is whjy i do not use an ayrtek, i dont want people thinking "christ people who buy ayrtek's are rubbish at batting" :P ;) doing my bit for the company!!!
-
what if the bat was brought up to you?
-
i reckon for a company to see it as worthwhile they'd have to make a pretty large profit on the stickers......which would take it out of what peop[le think is acceptable for stickers :)...just my thoughts....
-
Indeed Samuel it's the balance of making it worth the time in getting the stickers sorted and making a margin on them

I am not sure there is a big enough market for this to be profitable given how hard it is to earn a reputation especially for a small firm - one disintergrating bat with fake stickers always looks terrible and could really hurt a young brand, plus as it isn't impossible to get your own stickers designed for you - why not do that, there are loads of firms that will make them for you, from these guys http://www.cricketbatstickers.com/ to some of the more established printing firms. Then you can be really unique. I am sure there are loads of people who would will happily recommend a few firms who print good stickers.
-
would someone just buying the stickers make a huge difference the the amount of bats they will sell, probably not, so may aswell just sell them on the bats as your making more money :)
i should of done business a level!
-
if you wanted stickers so bad, i'm sure tom would help put you in touch with the place he uses, then you can get your own designed ones with whatever you wnat design and both your happy as you got EXACTLY what you want and tom's happy as he doesnt have to sell off his companies stickers...
-
Trust me Sammy business A-level is 'easier' than the rest ;)
I have an Ayrtek and there are 2 better batsman at the club who will no doubt use theirs better than I could :P
-
Will get stickers sorted for bens bat mate and let u know when im heading over ur side of town.....People seemed to like the white ones though which suprised me!
-
Custom Stickers can be added to the bats for an additional £20.00 if desired e.g. Elite bat would be £180.00 + £20.00 for custom stickers = £200.00 which is pretty competitive IMO seeing as the bats are UK made and you get your pick of stickers and your own personalisation on them as well.
-
Might have some electric blue ;)
-
but you dont have to have them?
-
No mate you can have the stock stickers for the £180.00 price
-
