Payntr, the Yorkshire-based company founded by David Paynter in 2017, could be as much as £380,000 out of pocket after theives broke into the parked vehicle in the Birstall area of the city on Friday night

Surely they must be insured against theft. Need to be on the lookout for cheap Paynter shoes on ebay now!

Apparently not as bad as 1st feared as lots have been recovered but a major hassle as you can appreciate when trying to get a backlog of orders out the door for forward orders and retailers with a sales window to hit.

Not in Payntrs they won't be.  They would have been caught long before they would have been able to find a pair that fitted properly

Really like the shoes, wore them all last season. Very comfortable and contributed to my pace increase from 'slug' to 'snail'

As for kicking someone when they are down, think that says all we need to know about the relevant people. In case it wasnt already clear

Hopefully the shoes are recovered and the thieving scum strung up

The shoes are brilliant and David is a great guy. Having met him and hearing his personal story about how he started this brand was really amazing to hear. Gutted for him as dealing with such a theft can't be easy for a firm that size. Those slating the shoes should try them on.
