Title: Lovely eBay purchase

Picked this up on ebay the other day, have to say really impressed with this. Love the minimalist stickers, but the pick up and balance is excellent. Taps up very well although seems soft. Not sure if hunts are normally softly pressed? The seller said its custom made he paid £200 and seems to be well worth it.

Can't find my tape but looks like a 38-40 mm edge
Weght was listed as 2.11 but feels more 2.10

Lovely bat! Hunts are normally very soft, yes - prepare for some serious mallet work.

@deanoknight yes, the majority of hunts bats are pressed very soft - so please knock it in as much as you can before use. Also, some hunts are drilled vertically down at the bottom of the splice before the handle is fitted to reduce the weight via hollowing that section out.

When I visited Tony told me all of the UK made ones were drilled.

As for the pressing it is rather soft, but they're well worth it once they're knocked in properly. I love my Hunts sticks, seriously under rated maker

Yea I've also had it confirmed that all the UK bats are now drilled.

Interesting about the drilling. Yeah will definitely take a few hours of prep,Seems a good buy at £120

I think the retro branding looks fantastic.  County were a big brand when I started playing but you don't see them much any.more
