A while ago there was talk of an April release of a new extremely thin Off the shelf thigh pad from Stretton Fox coming out. Has anyone heard anything more about this?

I got a super thin arm guard done by George @StrettonFox Sports in place of a conventional one that I had ordered. It is pretty strong but requires a bit of cushioning on the inside. Otherwise it is almost as good as not wearing an arm guard. I believe the same will hold good for the thigh guards too.

Hello and yes, apologies for the delay, new pads will be available for the 2020 season (from November), they will be 4mm thick and offer 90% of the protection as the current pads. It's been a big logistical setup to get this running as I will not be making them myself. However they will be available on a much wider scale and will retail at the same cost as a regular set of premium retail thigh pads.
