Did you weigh them? These look more like the claimed weights
Yes these are all the helmets i have personally weighed in their respective sizes. Have owned each of them at various points in time. I think weights will vary depending on size as well for the same helmets

Notice how light the GM is and that the top end Shrey was a fair bit above their claimed weight.

Do try to mention the sizes as well mate

Masuri Vision series Test Titanium mens (58-60cm): 860g
Masuri Vision series Test Steel mens (58-60cm): 950g
Shrey Masterclass Air 2.0 titanium mens (58-60cm): 750g
Shrey Masterclass Air Titanium (Standard Adult): 833g

Interesting thing to note. The new masuri VS elite titanium i just ordered weighs less than what was previously posted. Is it possible that same sized helmets from the same brand vary in weight that much? Or have they done something to reduce the weight? I think so as the swapa band in this new one is now the same as OS helmets which is lighter.

There will be some natural variation as the finished weight can depend upon how much glue has been used to stick the EPS liner to the shell, the cloth used to cover it with, some tolerance in the Ti grille welds etc

@SurreySam - i thought the e-line was just a new name for the elite as t-line would be to Test - but the weight difference seems to suggest it is totally different?

Yes, Masuri are now trying to simplify branding by using just the first letter:

C line = Club
T line = Test
E line = Elite

For 2020, I think there is one new helmet in the range which I posted a weight for, it's a 2nd E-line model which only has a single shell and the latest eye-line grille. Hence the lighter weight.

So to differentiate the two E-Line models Masuri have gone with :
E-Line (single shell) which as yellow colour band above the ear.
Vision E-Line (twin shell) which has blue colour band above the ear.

I expect the Vision E-line helmet to weigh in the 900g+  region as essentially, its just a renamed Vision Series Elite helmet.

Oh and I'm returning the small sized E-Line one I have, as it's a tad tight for me.

Instead, I've ordered both a medium sized E-line and T-Line with titanium grilles to try, using the recent discount code posted in the ebay/internet bargains thread.  I'll post up the weights when I get them.

E line = Elite

I guess it is just easier if they had Club/Test/Elite. The C/E/T-Line is more confusing IMO.

Super service from Masuri so far.  Ordered on Dec 22 at 4pm and the helmets were delivered today; I was expecting them first couple of weeks in January, after the Christmas/New Year festivities were all out the way.

Weights have been added, just got to decide which I prefer. One point to note - I measured my head at 57.5cm and that would be a small, hence getting a small size first but that was just too tight, and would be even more so in the summer heat. The medium is a much better fit for me and I don't even need to add the thick pad option included.

The T-line helmet from what I can tell, is essentially a Original Mk2 Test helmet and vision further out feels better. The E-line has the twin top bar grille and so the top bar appears thicker and eye slot feels narrower once wearing it. However the E-line grille has less upright bars further down, so vision through the grille around your hands/feet and ball contact is improved.  Decisions, decisions.

Also the Masuri neck guard will add 100g of weight give or take a gram, depending on which size bits you use for the helmet.

Can someone please check the weight of the old CS 1-2006 580-610mm Masuri?

I know from Albion helmets that the unpainted ones can be either steel or titanium. The Masuri I have has a unpainted matt metal grille and the weights are 284gr for the grille and 694gr for the helmet.

That points to titanium but I'd like to check. Cheers.
