Got this last week for £30 shipped and took it to the nets. Felt great straight away. Ball zings off the middle, long sweet spot. Oval handle at the bottom, bonus. I personally love the profile as well - straight longish swell, duck bill toe.

I want to just tidy it up and perform general maintainance. Done quite a bit of diy, but no bat refurbs, so your tips appreciated.
List of stuff I want to do:
-Remove the panther sticker on the back. Maybe all the stickers.
My wife's turbo hair dryer should do the trick.
-Remove sticker and glue and general dirt and grime.
What do you suggest? meth spirits?
-Sand up scuffed edges.
-Linseed oil it.
-Put on a scuff sheet.
There's a zillion on ebay, any brands to recommend? How long after oiling?

If you just remove the panther sticker then you can maybe find a similar one as part of another set on eBay. Saving or replacing stickers is always the hardest part of returning any classics.

Glad you like it @strang , was a nice piece of willow. 👍👍 Have some quality 3m hammer edge scuffs, could have sent some with it if I’d known you were after some.

Hey Andy, thanks dude. Will try out the other v600 next week.
You had some nice bats - I should have bid on those gm bats as well.

I have some original Slazenger stickers from about 2000’s when Ian bell was using the air blade (light blue) and Kallis the dark green options. PM me if your interested as happy to sell you a set if I can remember where I put them lol.

Was a bit of a pain removing the glue that decided to just take the Panther sticker off the back, and leave the others.
