Afternoon all
I've got a big decision to make, that will impact my whole season.
My faithful club cap has finally got to a state it has to be replaced :(
We have a choice now between a baseball cap or a baggy green. Which do I go for?
My club's membership day starts at 10.00am on Saturday morning, and Serious Cricket will be there taking orders for kit. I'll go for whichever option is most popular before I leave to get my stuff ordered.
Cheers guys :)

Neither mate floppy sun hat all the way, used one for the last couple of years now I’m totally bald
-
baggy green and a sunhat
-
Baseball cap, but i struggle to believe the old faithful is beyond repair!
-
A baggy is far too hot in mid-summer.
Always carry one of each and wear in a usual 5-9-4 (Baggy - BC - Baggy) rotation.

Baseball; baggy one I have from Gentleman whatever it is feels rather uncomfortable/weird with the lining
-
baseball.
baggy green is too hot.
and this is coming from an ozzie.

Baseball cap

I like a sun hat.
Modern molten wool ones aren't that great in my experience so given your choice I would probably go for the baseball cap.
I would need to see and try on both...
-
Biggest decision of the season must be which bat? Not which cap 😀 especially for those who have more 3🙂
-
Ive gone baseball aswell, other than nostalgia I dont think the baggy cap offers alot!

you seem to have made a typo, this is customhatsforum.

Baggys do get hot, but they look awesome. Get both. Of course the correct answer is sunhat. Extra runs awarded when batting in one...

This is the correct answer.

I have one of each, I generally wear both at least at some point during the game as they quickly get sweaty.

Nope, choosing a cap isn't the most important decision, you'll not agree anyways,
I use both, depending on the weather
-
For the record, I didn't include a wide brim sun hat as an option because I already have one of those for when it gets sunny! :D

I'm not sure how people think they are hot, I'm a pom, moved to Aus, worn one ever since being here and never once thought they were hot!

Well today was the day and as promised I went with the CBF majority and ordered a baseball cap.
As this is CBF, I also ordered a baggy...
Can't wait to play an actual game of cricket now!

This would be amazing but, oh my, you would have to be good.

Surprised it was this close.
Also think you should have been given a viking option.
