Title: Is this worth repairing?
Post by: LBWCandidate on April 04, 2019, 10:00:39 PM
An expensive bat from BDM with a great middle. However, Can this be repaired or worth repairing?
Very difficult to find someone good to repair in the USA.

In my opinion no it can’t, you could spend the money getting it repaired that would need to include a rehandle and clean up so most likely approx £50-£60 and no guarantee it will last at all. Time to look for a new bat I think mate

Looks like a crack running up to the shoulder as well as handle broken, so looks fairly terminal. Shame, bdm are nice bats and can last a long time.

Looks a stunning bit of willow that
Real shame, but I’d be reluctant to repair that and have it go again in the middle of a game

It’s gonna need a lot of dowels to hold that together

Not worth repairing from experience  even if you do it won't feel the same

Thanks! That's what @KW9221 had recommended.
