Title: Best inners
Post by: SOULMAN1012 on April 21, 2019, 07:53:59 AM
So this morning after yesterday’s game my hands feel totally bruised. I am using new GM Original keeping gloves, chamois inners and batting inners on top of those. Same inners so have done for years. Now maybe it’s juat my hands are still winter soft but what are the best keeping inners for Palm protection please?? We do have a collection of pretty quick bowlers this year and not sure my current set up will be good enough this year

Are those the new ones with the black padding Rob?
I'm a P1's man but these look interesting

Yes Phil, thin nylon top with the padding similar to Aeros

Struggle to look past the Aero P1's, only problem I have is the wrist strap. Having just seen those Kook ones though, they look interesting

I found an old pair of Morrant full/padded chamois in the club kitbag the other day. I usually wear half chamois, non padded but when I tried these on they felt perfect. I've worn them for a couple of games now and really like them, so they get my vote.

kookaburra ultimates, on a par with the Aero P1 but without the massive wrist strap.

Ive been using aeros, mainly cause they can go through the wash.

Much prefer half chamios. I did buy a pair of orange puma half chamios but i find they are too padded.

Aero p2s do the job for me, very impressed with the padding since I picked a set up last year - our openers are quite sharp and I'm a steel-palmed fill-in keeper, so they must be decent enough!

Feel like after the Kilve game you could use some more padding mate all those rapid beamer coming your way and the howitzer from the fence.
