Title: What lies beneath

Bought another old scoop from gumtree that had a fabric sheet on it. Looking at the back of the bat there seemed to be decent grains. So after taking the sheet off and a quick refurb this is the beauty that lies beneath

That's it, I'm gonna pickup a scoop. So the covered ones can still be good? Why did they bother covering?
