Title: Gm zelos pro
Post by: Psi on May 07, 2019, 11:50:38 PM
I was looking at some GM bats on offer and have come across a Zelos Pro Grade 1. Does anyone know where this fits into their range compared to the 909, original, original LE? Apparently it was made specially for some suppliers in the 2018 range. I've also called gm and they are trying to find out for me.

Just heard from GM that the Zelos Pro is equivalent to the 808,so in fact grade 2 willow and not grade 1 as was advertised...

This is a bit of a minefield. If I look on sd site they have GM Pro Grade bats that are clearly Kashmir willow or very low grade products. I wonder why they do all this confusing relabelling and don't just stick to their standard 101-909-original... grading system?

Do you have any pictures of the actual bat?
The exclusive bats can have funny names that don't quite tie in with the grade they are. I bought a couple of "Players" chromes from Sports Direct that turned out to be painted (and definitely not Grade 1 or 2....)

Yes I also saw some players grade bats that were clearly very low grade. The pictures are generic in the website and could really be any of the Zelos range
