Title: Knocking in
Post by: imogzyboy on June 22, 2019, 09:05:14 AM
Hi guys this Is gonna sound quite dumb but something id like to know, obviously we knock bats in to stop them breaking, but when looking at the bats the pros use I'm not convinced looking at them they are knocked in, so do pro bats get knocked in or not? Can they just use them with them pressed because they have replacements? How much does knocking in improve performance

Bats from Tim are pressed to go and use. Same for GM.
I have no idea about other bats.

They use better quality balls, play the bats in during nets, strike the middle more often  than not.

Knocking in improves  the bats  performance quicker  as doing it pushes the blades fibres together then as the fibres unfold you can achieve the trampoline effect this usually is when the bat as reach its peak
