Still remember him smashing warne for 6 2005 edgbaston day one like it was yesterday!

Well done tres on a fantastic career!

Wonderful player. In test cricket what would we give to have him in this era.

Played with him as a lad, he was good but there was another guy we played with who I thought, and the stats suggested, was at least as good.
Had his day now and probably should have retired 2 years ago. He’s been coaching at Taunton school for a few years now.

Total legend and a Bristol City fan to boot. I remember a dad of a mate of mine went to watch him in an U15 game at Downend (Bristol) after he had heard he was decent and Tres hit a double hundred in a 20 over game!

Fantastic player and in his team prime arguably one of the best opening batsmen we have ever produced. One of the most elegant lefties Iv ever seem

Top top player served county and country well.

I think that leaves Ian Bell as last man standing from 2005 now. Although there’s nothing saying he won’t retire first still!
