Title: Refurb error
Post by: jimmy23 on August 16, 2019, 05:10:49 PM
So I recently purchased a GN Select Extreme from their EBay outlet used it a couple of times and decided to send it to Gray Nics to get it re-stickered into a Powerspot.
I emailed them asking if they could do this and they replied it shouldn’t be a problem.
So filled in the online form asking for 2019 Powerspot stickers to be applied and nothing else changed as it’s only been used twice, printed it off and attached it to the handle and paid my £37 including return postage.
I paid another £7 to send the bat and waited.
The bat has come back today as a POWERBOW to which I am not happy about at all, I wanted the classic look of a Powerspot and would rather have kept the classic select stickers than this.
They have also removed my fibre scuff sheet (which I prefer) and replaced with a regular scuff sheet, despite me asking for nothing else to be changed on the bat.
So all in all I have paid 40 odd quid to have my bat changed to something I didn’t want.

I have tried to call but they had finished for the weekend so have sent them an email to see how they will resolve it.

Not having a go, merely explaining my own personal poor experience.
If they resolve it I will happily post about about that as well

The returns are excellent but their admin/attention to detail around them aren’t always up to scratch.

That is very poor. At least They Should correct and pick up at their cost

Update on this
They accepted their error and picked up the return postage.
I have received the bat now labelled as a Powerspot, a few bubbles and creases in the stickers and didn’t put me a fibre scuff sheet back on as requested, but I’m happy with the bat now.
