Title: Excel 5 star pads and gloves.

Can anyone who has used H4L Excel 5 Star Pads and Gloves give me the lowdown as to what they are like because i was going to get them along with a 666 bat but they seem to have taken a pounding in the Wisden-Cricketer gear guide.

I wouldnt read a lot into that review. Generally the softs and bats are very nice. Gloves are really comfortable. Id hold off a week or so as im sure there are new softs due any day now!!!

I agree, don't read to much into it. I have a pair of 5* Excel gloves and a pair of Vantage players gloves, both great gloves.
