Picked up Another Master 500 from crowncricketer. The bat just spoke to me and i couldnt resist. Just look at those grains under the butterfly mark! Cost me approx. GBP60. Weighs 2lb9.5oz, 37mm edge and 62mm spine

I tried reaching out to them once via FB but did not get a response back, which was in line with the feedback on their FB page. Clearly you found a secret way to get them to notice :D

I know the one he sends around on watsapp aren't always clear but this caught my eye and the price was ridiculous. Asked him to send clearer pics and he did

It’s a good job I’m not in this WhatsApp group - my wallet would be eternally empty.
Lovely bat but what do you do about the thin handle?

About 8-9 layers of medical tape is what i did...

That's about 2oz of tape! I thought I went nuts adding tape :)
Only added about half an ounce to the dead weight. Used it strategically to make the bottom hand thicker and more oval

Lovely looking bat! I used my Butterfly SS and made an unbeaten 50 odd in my first match back after 2 months and it felt as good as any other bat I've used bar my previous SS. Honestly, from someone who spends thousands on bats, the vast majority of us
could do fine with bats around the 100-150 mark should follow my example and buy more.
In terms of handles, I tend to put a layer of binding on my SS bats, which is about 0.8oz of dead weight. It does take about 20mins to 30 mins, but well worth the time investment. Also make sure I wrap the binding all the way down, as this will help with preventing some shoulder damage that thin handled bats tend to suffer from. :)
