Title: Socks, socks, socks!

I like Horizon thick cricket socks - but I don;t like the price.

Anyone know a good place for Horizon or a cheaper alternative for thicker socks?

Horizon are the best, but I don’t find GM socks too bad either. The Teknik version are a little pricy, but the Premier ones are very reasonable.

have you tried the 1000 mile socks, these are what i have always used.........

trusox or Jordan sport socks are pretty thick

slazenger sock from sports direct

they're cheap (£3) yet surprisingly comfy!

and if you want more cushion for the pushin you can wear two pairs and they're still half the cost of the horizon (which i also wear)

So, when I was in Pakistan I bumped into this guy at National Cricket Academy who would sell socks to cricket players, I bought those and he gets rejects from the factory. I was pretty impressed by the quality.
