Sachin has just scored the first 200 in ODI history. What a legend a true great of the game. No praise is enough for what he has achieved in an awesome 20 years leading the game.

He would not make it into the England team!
Because he is Indian ;)
-
Don't really rate him to be honest.
-
i watched it, incredible
-
haha. but seriously, I rekon he is the best batsmen ever in the history. He has lasted 20 years in the TV age, and still nobody has gotten close to working him out..
-
Surely he must rate up there as arguably the greatest batsman of all time. Is he better than the Don? As was said in a previous post 20 years in the tv era and still getting better!!
-
Such a terrific innings.
-
He makes everything look like hes playing dibbly dobblers, simply opening up slightly to smash one through covers and whip when its straight, marvelous!
-
well hussey averaged 85 after 20 matches and look whats happened to him. Bradman only played 50 odd matches, sachin 160+. Saying that haven't seen Bradman play, so cant really comment :)
-
Apparently Sachins technique is virtually the same as Bradmans, according to the Don.
-
great innings, pleasure to watch!

Finally... It was inevitable and it is surprising that it took him this long but what an innings! I still rate the 98 against Pak in the 2003 WC (which I was fortunate to watch at the Centurion), the twin sharjah innings against the Aussies in 1996 and the 175 in a losing cause recently as better innings but nonetheless what an amazing achievement. Like an overwhelming majority of Indians I am biased in idolising him but even if I were a neutral observer, this achievement would be worthy of celebration.

Marvellous innings, my Mum and I enjoyed every minute of it!
