Post by: GDP1964 on January 05, 2020, 04:59:22 PM
Hi Guys I recently purchased a Kwik Grip  applicator on eBay and no matter what grip I try it with it just does not open up the grip to enable me to fit it anyone else have this problem?

Nope, the ones I’ve had work with everything I’ve put in them grip wise. Sometimes have to readjust and out more grip over the ends but works in the end even if there is a slow leak and u have to bang it on the bat quickly before it closes up.

I found you sometimes need to hold round the grip on one of the ends to get a proper airtight seal.

You need to get a decent overlap when folding it back at each end so that it forms a vacuum

Got at least a cm of overlap on both sides
