For ages I have been wanting to setup such a facility in the Barnsley/Doncaster region but never found a suitable property with a reasonable rent. However now looking further afield and have found something roughly located between Darlington and Durham.
Therefore are there any dedicated net facilities in the Teeside/Darlington/Durham area? There's a venue up in Newcastle (Gosforth) but that's good hour away whilst indoor nets are available at The Riverside Sports Centre in Durham although I don't know if these are a permanent solution?

I live in Darlington and know of only Durham that have a dedicated facility
It’s something I’ve thought of doing, but not for another years or so.
Plenty of cricket clubs in and around the area. Most rely on schools for indoor nets, matting is never great...

Feel free to contact me if you need advice, pricing etc on surfaces, netting and lighting. Always happy to do a site visit should you find a suitable venue.
We are getting an awful lot of enquiries of this nature, and have been doing more and more privately funded cricket centres in recent years.

Checked out the building today which is in Shildon. Perfect size with really high clearance but one major drawback in that there are no toilets contained within the unit. Instead there are male and female toilets in another building which requires walk across a yard.
