Im going to buy a masuri keeper helmet, has anyone got actual pics of one? Also, what grill does it come with? Is it the one in the picture on owzat or a normal masuri grill? Thanks in advance :)
-
It comes with the standard steel grill.
-
What does it look like?
-
Says it comes with 'Masuri steel grille' that's it.
-
So im guessing that its a normal masuri grill, saw one on ebay and it had a normal ti grill and a normal steel grill. Hopefully its the normal one.
-
http://www.chasesport.com/
follow the link to masuri mate then keeping
its a different grill mate than the normal steel batting grill
-
Ok, its just that every one of them that I have seen being used by oppenents or pros on tv have had the normal grill. Just will have to wait and see what they have on them in warsop :D
-
Which grill did you want on it?
-
Normal one, if it has the other one then I might ask them to change it :D
-
The grill on that one looks like the ones they issue on the Jnr size lids
-
I can sell you a steel masuri grill if needed
-
Ok mate, will tell you when i buy the helmet, might just swap it over from my batting one

Yeah tom i was thinking that :D Around the start of april you might be getting an order for a ti grill from me :)
-
quick i will give you a steel mate for just the postage ok bud they are similar to the junior gill but i will send you a steel
-
Ok mate let me know....got plenty in stock now :) Nice and light at 150g the keepers helmets were tricky to get hold of from what a lad Colseys club said but the curve at the back will allow you to not have it hit your neck at least wehn looking up etc.
-
£30 arent they? How much to post?
-
Tom, can your current helmet shape have the 12 vents design in them like sanga? Available to the public?
-
No not available to the public im afraid as they are custom made for him with the extra vents in etc.
QK was that aimed at me or procricket?
-
You.
-
Ah right can do a 2010 model of grill for £35 inc P&P as they will be £40 + P&P on our new website when launched due to an increase in raw material costs.
-
Ok mate, got any pics?

Looks very similar Timbo to a standard masuri, are there any differences when wearing it?
1100.
-
So same grill as the usual batting helmets then, only difference is the curve at the rear to cater for looking up when squatting down to avoid contact with the neck...neither Kumar, Rachel or Pete wanted this option on theirs which suprised me.
-
No difference between that and a standard apart from the cut out at the back and IMO the most important thing - the peak is shorter so if you have to look up for high catches you don't lose the ball behind the peak
-
Nice, just what I was hoping for :D Does is have more ventilation?
-
Ventilation is still the same - it's my first Masuri but I've compared it with a team mates Masuri. It's stunningly good!
I had an Aero mask before, liked it, but I got into the habit of turning my head to awkward deliveries exposing the unprotected side of my head - not good!
-
Nice little trip up to warsop after school today to get the lid and some trousers :D Got the grill fitted for me and it is the normal steel one. Might buy an ayrtek ti for my batting one. On the keeper one the peak is soooooo short and the cut out at the back is good. It feels really light when im wearing it. Hopefully won't come off like a water fountain after keeping now :D Not much point in posting pics as it is the same as timbos.
