Managed to partially disclocate my shoulder (subluxation)
Hoping it’s gone back in ok after my MRI but we’ll see. Anyone experience this and knows what kind of recovery time I am looking at? (With best case that I don’t need surgery)

No knowledge of this but hope you have a speedy recovery with the cricket season just round the corner :)

I'd say 6 weeks without further damage until you can play sport/exercise 100%. Should feel ok after 2 weeks though but you will still risk dislocation if you try doing too much too soon. Damage to rotator cuff will make this longer and possibly require surgery to fix.
I worked for a sports med and orthopaedic company and have been in the medical industry for 10 years now, plus had shoulder issues myself!

I've had 5 shoulder dislocation. 3 on the right and 2 on the left. I had an operation on the right one after dislocation number 3. the surgeon said the left one needed doing but i was moving overseas and couldn't handle the long rehab again. My recovery time was 6/7 week for a dislocation and i had a lot of muscle wastage and was super weak after. My advice is to listen to the physio and take the rehab seriously. My shoulders have never been the same, i can't field outside the circle as i have no arm whatsoever and i had to change my golf swing.
All mine were from playing football so i was also advised to give that up at 30....sad times but i meant i can continue to play cricket and golf.
Good luck with it.

I’m a week in and have most of my movement back. Still a small amount of pain with certain movements. Hoping that when I go back for a scan I get the all clear.

In terms of wastage were you literally doing nothing for 6/7 weeks with it? How long were you slinged for?
