Myself and forum member @alexhilly1492 were having a talk at nets tonight about how the difference of a handle thickness is so personal to the individual, which led me to asking this question.
What do you prefer and why?

I used to use 1 and a half grips, then went up to 3, down to 2, and have now settled with one (GM HEX). As for handle shapes, I’ve never been that sensitive to different shapes, although I will say that GMs handles feel very nice indeed.

Must, must be oval. Not too fussed on thickness (or perhaps I haven't found a perfect one just yet)
-
Just like the one in that puma.. or gm with two grips 😂
-
I don't think I've got a real preference.
As long as there's an extra half grip on the bottom of the handle anything will feel alright!

Thin oval...having just gotten a TK...its like where have you been...

Yes I agree the tk handles are near perfect for me these days, I do like the top hand oval as well tho

Simples from a GM
-
I liked the feel of GM handle.
-
Oval or semi oval, two grips.
-
Oval, with 2 grips. But I too am experimenting with thin oval on my new TK.
Thing is, it makes a lot of difference when you are swinging the bat around with no gloves. But when you put gloves and maybe inners on, it makes much less difference.

Thicker the better, I leave the handles at the max size I can get them on my own bats. Have no idea why anyone would want a thin handle!

Where I would agree with you on the top Hand I do wish he would Make the bottom part of his handles thicker. But does allow you to sculpt your own shape and feel with tape etc (in true CBF fashion)
However having held a few pro handles - I wish he would use them on all Grades of his bats lol

Relatively thin for the top hand then either and extra half a grip or double bound bottom hand, nicely oval.
I do enjoy playing with the handle/grip set up.
Then I have been using the gm matrix grip for years but trying other grips pre season.
I suspect I will go back to the soft gm matrix relatively quickly!

I have found the TK oval handle with a single chevron grip to be my holy Grail.
-
I'm a large girth man personally
-
Oval with 3 grips. I find a bat picks up better with a thicker handle
-
Does anyone have preference of handle based on the shape?
-
Thin oval handles, TK style. I add 1/4 or 1/2 grip on the top of the handle to prevent my top hand from sliding up.
Think handle can be adjusted to fit your hands/gloves by adding tape and grip. I never like thick handles because you are stuck with a fat, thick handle.

I like an oval handle with 2 grips

So far best handles I found to be GM and I CJI I picked from eBay. CJI is round I think but thick round one. Not sure what shape is GM.
No idea why everyone is not following on GM handles

I put some wool padding under medical tape at the top under the grip on my TK handle because I found my left hand was uncomfortable next to the sharp edge where the knob starts. I hold it fairly high up. Probably should be using a LH or LB really as am very tall, but LH never seem to be in the cheap deals manufacturers offer. Still experimenting to work out whether I need an extra half grip at the bottom of handle. See how it goes in the next nets.
