Title: Weak top hand
Post by: 19reading87 on February 14, 2020, 02:59:35 PM
I've always been very conscious that when I bat I have a weak top hand. Having been very fortunate that this doesnt affect my game too much but I know with a strong top hand I can progress myself a little further.

Does anybody have any tips or guidance to making / keeping my top hand hold the bat tighter. I want to get myself doing it without telling myself I need to.

Cheers in advance

The best advice I was given as an 8 year old hockey player (you need a very strong left hand for control) was to repeatedly squeeze a squash ball. This builds muscle in your hand and forearm.
