Title: Gray Nicolls - Giant
Post by: SpiderDan on March 27, 2020, 04:58:19 PM
Hi all,

I've ordered myself a GN Giant in the kingsgrove sale and I was wondering if anyone on here has one and what they think of it?

This is another 80s revival, right?

They are insanely huge all over. So heavy though.
If you can wield one then bowlers beware.

I had a look at a few when I was in AUS in September. They are railway sleepers, there is basically no difference in the edge size from the spine to the toe.

How did you find the pick up and balance?

Nice! That's bucking the trend of ultra lightweight.

big thick bats but heavy. So if 3lb works for you then you will like it.

I absolutely love mine. I’ve got about 3 grips on. They actually balance really well as the weight is so evenly distributed. Fairly firm on the press.
