This was purchased from 3D Sports (who are Kookaburra themselves) using a discount code as I had mentioned in the internet bargain spots thread. It seems I exploited a loophole by being able to use the code on already discounted items, despite the offer stating otherwise. This was promptly stopped soon afterwards and indeed the Rampage Pro promptly sold out. Consequently, from an already decent GBP 279.99 (the cheapest Pro grade they listed), this became an attractive and attainable GBP 223.96. Who knows where prices may go for the rest of this season but that is about as low it usually gets for a Pro grade I feel.
There was a choice of two weights and I picked 2lb 11oz , arrived quite a bit lighter at 2lb 8 and a half but as I am likely to re-market this at my club, that is not an issue. Consequently, whilst this model is described as having a low sweet spot, at that weight the pick up is light anyway. Feels nice and balanced. It must be that shaping on the rear that does it!
As Kookaburra permit hand-picking and as it turned out the bat sold out quickly, there is always the risk that the last of the stock will be not the best cosmetically, I am pleased with this one though.

Great price for a pro, but if you’d told me it was a 3.0 or 4.0 I wouldn’t have been surprised. But hell of a bargain
