What are people's favourite bat grips? Best suppliers?
Best I've found yet are James Lavers - very high quality white chevron. Anyone know where you can get similar quality in the UK?
-
love a spiral. I find they do tear quite quickly but, for me, lots of other grips are not 'grippy enough'
-
Spiral all the way. Used to get them from upfront cricket for about £2.50 inc postage. Then they ran out of black ones so had to go white. Life’s hard sometimes.
-
lol. thanks guys. desperate to find Lavers ones - just too pricey to buy from NZ
-
Salix used to sell high quality U.K. made chevrons.
-
The laver chevrons like you say are very nice and seem to be the same you get on ss bats which I love.
I always buy new grips, all different styles and always revert back to the uk made chevrons above
-
There are chevron grips on ebay. Decent quality decent price. I bought few myself. Feel soft aswell
-
Uk. Made chevron grips for me all the way. Change my grip roughly after every 5 games or so. Always got mine from a seller on eBay but he seems to have gone quote recently. Luckily i have about 25 spare at the moment so will last me a while
-
I like the gm matrix grips, soft and high quality. You can buy them relatively cheaply by the dozen.
-
Last year's gm grips for me, was about to try a jex so will reserve judgement on that till we get back out whenever that maybe
-
I’ve bought white chevrons off eBay and they were all (No Swearing Please). Links to good ones appreciated!!

I've bought from this seller various times in the past and always received good quality grips. Here's his link - https://www.ebay.ca/usr/cougarcricket?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 (https://www.ebay.ca/usr/cougarcricket?_trksid=p2047675.l2559)

Not sure if its the best but i am currently using the GM ripple grip on my bats. And very happy with them.
-
I’ve got one really thick and grippy white chevron and have no idea where I got it from. It’s sensational and I’d immediately change all my grips if I knew where to find them this thick... any ideas?
I can’t post a pic as the bats down the ground - sorry

Be looking for some yellow chevrons for a while hard to find

Not sure onnthe quality, but they're yellow

Best white chevrons I’ve had were from a guy called roho on eBay. He’s gone quiet recently though? Bought some recently from a different seller on eBay and were much thinner.
-
Ive got one like that. A chevron should just be a chevron but every now and again you find one that just seems different. Better quality, better feel, whatever. Really annoying!!!
B3 chevrons I’ve had in the past we’re awesome but the last few I’ve had seem different and just don’t feel the same. Much thicker and just don’t feel the same. It’s tough over thinking everything :D
Same I have got a few hundred I got from India and there’s always a few others that feel a bit better than the others
I also rate the early b3 ones Still got a few, last longer than the uk ones as well which I rip pretty much every time I use them
-
For me, octopus grips are the way to go.
Kook came up with a Silicon grip. Interested to see if anyone has used them yet?

We all know you weren't Gary, for some reason the level of censorship around here has become a little ridiculous lately.

I used to always get snake grips. They have feel and grip without the weight.
Now I use GM Dynamic grips. The same as above but with a little less flex. Able to get them in club colours too.

Rob at Six Sixes Cricket gave me a good deal.
-
Never settled on 1 type of grip. Currently using ripple and terrain grips. Both of them are good.
-
Double thickness chevron - uk made all the way for me.
-
@Blank Bats - where do you find these?
-
I have a few
How many do you need
-
I've put gm hex on a couple of my bats. I like the feel so far but haven't tried in a match, obviously.

I really liked them, but the do chunk up the ha doe a bit so think I’ll need to use them on bats with skinnier than does than GM’s.
-
GM Hex grips are great. You can keep a loose grip on the handle and be pretty much certain that it won’t fly out of your hands when your palms get a bit sweaty.
-
Yes good point. I agree
-
If anyone can point me in the direction of some white chevrons of good quality i'd be grateful - looking for about 20 at the minute.
Starting up a new refurb project in my area to help whilst on furlough.
