Title: Is this a Keeley made bat?
Post by: jdownesbcfc on September 18, 2020, 06:45:03 PM
Hi Guys

Bought a bat in good faith, arrived today and I’m not convinced it’s Keeley made as advertised at all.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case (I’m 99.9% sure it’s not) and further can anyone suggest who / where it was made?

Poorly linked/uploaded pics to follow

Woodstock handle sticker is fake so I would imagine the bat isn’t TK either, shoulders are certainly not TK

Hopefully you didn’t break your bank for it.

This is why I stick to forum sponsors or members. CBF admin team has been doing such a great job with little to no return.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. Didn’t spend a fortune on it but enough to be p*ssed off if I don’t get a refund.

No real evidence of it pinging but it’s yet to be knocked in so I’m always wary of making judgements. Handle feels very thin. Grains look nice

Unless you're absolutely in love with it, get your money back and have a look at a BlankBat. Quality willow without the silly prices.

If your picture hosting site of choice doesn't have a bbcode for forums option it's stimple to do it manually. Right click on the image, copy location, paste that location into your forum post with IMG tags:
[  IMG]www.picturehostingwebsite.com/cricketbat.jpg [/  IMG] (with the spaces I put in the IMG tags removed).

Stop buying bats on the internet! Go to a specialist shop, or a manufactuter, and feel some bats in your hands.

Not an option for all of us!

Where’s the fun in buying bats from reputable sources?!? I’m a gambling man in every sense of the word.
