What size mongoose bat would you recommend for me I am 5ft 6", so what size would be best PS will need the cheapest one preferabllly cuz I'm not on a big budget. PS Tom I was emailing u earlier ;)
-
I'd go with sh mate :)
-
is this cor or mmi??? not that it would make a huge difference!
-
Mmi
-
Off topic, but if Tom sees this. The picture of Dwayne Smith 'Tweeted' by you guys earlier, is the MMi the standard one, as the blade look to be longer with a shorter handle?
-
Dwayne uses a 1" longer blade in both bats.
-
Ok, cheer, thought it looked like a bit of a longer blade
-
Handle same or an inch shorter?
-
Whole bat is an inch longer (I think!)
-
Found this on my old phone from October 2008....Think it was one of the first prototypes and before mongoose formed?!

Correct, it was codenamed the "Albert Trott Bat" at this point.
-
Why was it codenamed after DelBoys grandad??
-
Think the handle has been widened at the bottom since to blend in with the bat a bit more...was certainly interesting giving it a try out initially prior to the media launch at lords and mongoose being thrust into the headlights.
-
Jesus - you really need to check for typo's tom - "thrush in the headlights", not a pretty sight i'd imagine........but then again you are a brizzle geeza!!!
-
LOL...Dom....that's what happens when I haven't got a morning cuppa down me yet to kick start my productive levels! Too busy emailing Lekka who wants our BSI certificates to satisfy himself that we have passed...lovely start to a Friday morning! I thought it was ur job to occupy and entertain him?!?
-
Me?? I'm just a lowly chaffuer, i thought everbody knew that.
-
You'll be nicknamed Parker if your not careful!!!
-
is that the smallest of splices on the bat? ???
-
As has been said previously the bat is spliced in the tried and tested manner, it has just been strategically moved out of the hitting area on both bats. So yes that is the remnants of the splice.

Sorry Tom, didn't read the whole thread, just wondering if I was imagining things lol. Like the name too. :D
