Title: Which shop to visit?

Hi all,

I think my son will find he needs a new helmet this season (age 11). I'm making an assumption that all junior helmets will offer sufficient protection for any U13 balls he is likely to face, so there should be no issue there. As he's a wicket keeper he will be wearing it a long time, so comfort is paramount. I'm sure people could give me lots of advice about best brands/models etc but I think the best thing to do is simply try them on. So my question is which cricket retailers will carry wide ranges of different helmets, or will I need to visit lots of different shops? We are based in Lancashire- between Burnley and Blackburn.

There's Romida in newhey (Oldham/rochdale) and also one in Huddersfield
Total cricket and top cricket are basically across the road from each other inAshton under lyne (oldham)
All rounder cricket Leeds/Sheffield
Cricket and hockey World Bolton.( ive personally never been here but I have been to the others mentioned)
I would say they are the closest off the top of my head

Wasn’t there a shop in Blackburn?
A lancs league umpire used to run it?
I’ve not been to Romida for years, but would be hard to beat their selection if it’s still open
