Title: Adidas Vectors- Suitable for batting?
Post by: King pair on March 16, 2021, 09:27:36 PM
Hi all,

Traditionally these have always been the all rounder shoe but I wondered what people’s experience of batting in them is?

Has anyone used a pair of last years with the strap to bat in?

If so we’re they comfortable, did they feel chunky etc etc

Thanks

“You can get used to hanging, if you hang long enough.”

On a serious note. I've used a few Adidas bowling shoes for batting. The ones I started with were the gold ones with a black chunky sole. Similar to these...

Man they were heavy. Everything else since then has been fine to bat in. I'll put them on the scales tomorrow.

Depends how you wear your pads.  If you wear then tight to the ankle, then there is no problem.  If you push them down a bit so the instep of the pad covered the first part of the top of your foot then the pad can rub on the velcro strap

For me using an image from it, I'd say it's the real deal.

I wouldn't buy anything from them though.

Thanks it fails the too good to be true test, but my son needs new spikes.

All without insoles but with plastic studs/spikes.

Can't believe the weight difference between them. I also can't believe the time and effort it takes to add photos to the forum.
