Hi All,
I had my first net yesterday, in the sunshine.
Unfortunately, my trusty Paceman Pro machine started smoking and gave up after about half an hour.
I let it cool and tried it a few hours later - nothing. It looks like the electric motor has packed up/ burnt out.
Does anyone know if there are any firms offering a repair service or where I might start to look for a replacement electric motor?
Next task is probably to open the casing up to look at the motor to find some details about power/ size.
If anyone has an views, experience or suggestions as to hwo to get it 'refreshed', I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,
David

By way of an update in case anyone else finds themselves with any issues with their Paceman.
They have a technician in the uk who can undertake an assessment and repairs.. The email to contact them at is - info@dimensionsport.com;
I have sent mine off for assessment, thnking it may need a replacement motor £99.90) or circuit board £55.90). Both prices include return carriage.
I shall update you on progress.

Quick update -
My Paceman Pro has been delivered back, with a replacement electric motor (for £99.90). It works as good as ever. I am very pleased and would recommend the service if you are having any issues with a Paceman machine.
It is a 2014 model and I am pleased with its robustness and capability. It is very heavy to carry and set up (far more so than my previous, lower priced Paceman), so I'm considering swapping to a Bola Junior. More thinking to be done....
