Does anyone have any reccomendations for shops / manufacturers who provide cricket clothing for the....*ahem*....larger gentleman?
I was already on the larger side but let's just say that lockdown hasn't been kind, and I need to shift some timber but I can only do that by getting out on the pitch again.
Cheers in advance for any reccomendations! :)

Thanks! I've dropped them an email using the contact address on their website. Not bothered by make in the slightest - it's more important that they fit!

Kookaburra and Adidas do some generous sizes.
Like you I will be a little larger when I take to the field this season and hoping no cricket teas will benefit the weight loss!

X's are your friend. (As opposed to Exes, who probably aren't.)

I've been ok with Kookaburra in the past, but Adidas were a bit on the tight side. Even so, I'm thinking a period of lockdown will make me too big for Kookaburra! :(

Thanks everyone. Think I'm on my way to getting sorted and another season of wobbling around the outfield! :D

This thread has made me very nervous about getting my kit out of the cupboard on Friday ahead of Saturdays game

Ahem......my trousers seem to have shrunk a little over the winter

Reviving an old thread....one thing I have noticed is that most of the brands these days are doing shirts where the cloth used is on the thinner side. These are good in really hot conditions but I would rather prefer a shirt which had a thicker cloth. Any recommendations please?

Not sure shirts are still made of cloth. ;)

Anyone sell GoreTex whites?? ;)

I have a Warsop shirt that is much thicker, almost like a rugby shirt, which I sometimes use for early season matches when it's cold and I have to bowl. This shirt is from a few years ago so unsure if the one on their website is in a similar style. But it goes up to 3XL if you can squeeze yourself into that :-)
