Currently using P2s and are great, but battered so looking for a replacement. Dont want anyhting bulkier tbh.
Think I am going to end up getting another pair if there's nothing else of interest... Anyone got experience of the Moonwalkr thigh pads? Can you remove the hip padding?
Any recommendations please?

I tried the Moonwalkr thigh pad but went back to the p2s. Moonwalkr was a good set up- good protection and stays in place well. They are a bit more bulky though. The hip protector is a fixed part of the outer thigh pad

I really want someone to try the M and H thigh pads.. They look great. The £80 price tag is a touch off putting though.
For what it is worth I am using the standard GN inner and outer thigh pads at the moment and they are not too bulky and work fine.
I have just bought my kids some SS made VKS thigh pads which are good too.

Thanks Buzz. Do you have links to the GN ones? I know you are a connoisseur of all things thigh pads :D ;)

I am sure our sponsors will have some in stock, but the test thigh pads you can see here.

My elder son has https://vks.com/product/vks-combo-thigh-inner-guard/ (https://vks.com/product/vks-combo-thigh-inner-guard/)
Which I think are good too and largely unbranded for the kit ocd types

The B3 thigh guards look well priced... anyone with experience of them?

Did this obsession with thigh pads stem from any particular event @Buzz 😂

To be honest, not that can remember... I just think having kit that is comfortable matters.
Most pads are basically the same as are gloves, so it is easy to find softs you like. But a too bulky thigh pad, or one that is the wrong shape can hamper your movements at the crease.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm looking for a single thigh pad where the straps velcro onto any part of the pad. I often find when there is specific velcro strips it can be hard to get the perfect fit.

You could check out the new Stretton foxes. I think it comes as a combo as well as individual pad and the strap can Velcro onto any part of the pad.

Buy some sticky back hook and loop from ebay/amazon /your local store and stick it on to be the right fit.

I have a remfry I’m looking at to getting rid of but unfortunately it’s just the outer. Really rate it but it’s just going to waste in my bag.

How much are you selling it for?
