Any tips for breaking in new stiff gloves
-
Wear them round the house flexing your hand.
Sleep with them on.
Put them on the floor palm up and knock them in with a bat mallet.
Use them for catching practice.
-
Roll/fold them up and stick them under your mattress for a couple of nights
-
Yeah, also stick them under the mattress and use the mallet but into the palm of the hand I find works much better and can shape the gloves more. Basically just like catching the mallet over and over.

Should you wear them whilst hitting them by the way they are a pair of Graham plimmers

Yep, that's how I like to do it. Hammering with one hand into the glove on the other hand. It doesn't need to be too hard and should feel just like you are catching the mallet and will start giving you nice ball cup creasing after a while. A few minutes at a time and then just swap hands.
